Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 5 May 2026
This page explains how Senara uses small data files called cookies on its website, and how you can adjust which ones are active. We want this to be easy to understand, so we've kept the language plain throughout.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They help the site remember certain things — for example, that you've already seen the cookie notice, or that you'd like pages displayed in a particular way.
Cookies do not contain personal information by themselves, and most of them are deleted automatically when you close your browser. Others remain on your device for a set period to make return visits smoother.
You are always free to change or withdraw your choices using the controls on this page, or through your browser settings.
2. Cookie Types We Use
Essential Cookies
These keep the basic parts of the site working — things like remembering your cookie choices and keeping your browsing session intact. Without them, the site cannot function properly. They cannot be turned off.
Duration: session or up to 12 months · Always active
Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are most visited and where people tend to leave. The data is gathered in aggregate form and is not linked to individual identities. It helps us improve the pages over time.
Duration: up to 24 months · Optional
Marketing Cookies
These are used to show notices or content that may be relevant to your interests, based on your browsing activity. They can be set by third-party advertising services we occasionally work with. You can switch these off without affecting the core content of the site.
Duration: up to 12 months · Optional
Preference Cookies
These remember small choices you've made — such as the region you're browsing from or display settings. They make subsequent visits feel a little more familiar. Turning them off means the site may not remember these settings between visits.
Duration: up to 6 months · Optional
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on this site are placed by third-party services rather than by Senara directly. These services have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review.
- Google Analytics — aggregated usage data to help us understand site activity.
- Google Maps — embedded map on our contact page. Google may set its own cookies when the map loads.
- Advertising networks — occasionally used for general promotional activity. These set marketing cookies if enabled.
We do not sell personal data to any third party, and third-party cookies are only active if you have allowed the relevant category above.
4. Cookie Duration
Session Cookies
These exist only for the duration of your visit. They are deleted automatically the moment you close your browser tab or window. They are used for things like keeping your cookie choices active while you browse.
Persistent Cookies
These remain on your device after you close the browser, up to their expiry date. Depending on the category, they may last anywhere from a few weeks to two years. You can delete them at any time through your browser.
5. Your Cookie Preferences
Use the controls below to adjust which optional cookies are active. Your choices are saved to this browser. If you use a different browser or device, you'll need to set your preferences there separately.
