What our clients have shared
Margaret Hollis
Retired, Phuket (British national)
"I came in with a cardboard box of papers and no real idea of what was in it. Nattawan went through everything with me at a very calm pace and we ended up with a folder I could actually understand. It took most of a morning but I left feeling quite a bit lighter, if that makes sense. The printed organizer they gave me at the end has been genuinely useful."

"I attended the group sessions mostly out of curiosity. I was not sure what to expect, but James made everything very accessible and the other participants asked good questions I would not have thought to ask myself. The glossary they handed out has come in handy more than once since. My only small comment would be that the sessions were slightly too spread out for my schedule, but that is a minor thing."

Retired civil servant, Phuket Town
"My husband and I did the household programme together with our daughter joining us for two of the visits. Pranee was very patient with us and the written family briefing she prepared is something we have all referred back to since. It gave us a shared understanding of where things are that we did not have before. The work took three visits in total."

"What I valued most was the complete absence of any attempt to sell me something. Senara explained what they do and do not do very clearly from the start, and everything that followed matched that. Straightforward, unhurried, and actually helpful."

Lalita Thongchai
Approaching retirement, Phuket
"I attended the group sessions because I wanted to understand how things worked before I made any decisions. The sessions were helpful on that level — I came away feeling much better informed. The pace was comfortable and the questions from the group often covered exactly what I was wondering myself."

"We did the household programme as a couple. My wife speaks little English but the team managed the language difference well — part of the written briefing was adapted so she could follow it too. The filing system they helped us set up has stayed in use, which I think is the real measure of whether something like this works."

Case Study — Individual Tidy-Up
From scattered papers to a folder that makes sense
The Situation
A British retiree had spent six years in Thailand with documents spread across three storage boxes, two email accounts, and a file on her laptop she could not locate. She was approaching a renewal process and had no clear sense of what she actually held.
What We Did
Over one morning session, we worked through each item together, labelled every document in plain language, and organized them by category into a single folder. Where documents pointed to processes she would need to follow up with official bodies, we noted those clearly and included the relevant contacts.
The Outcome
She left with one organized folder, a handwritten contents list, and a printed organizer. The renewal process she had been delaying for months was completed within three weeks of her session. Time taken at Senara: one half-day.
"I had put this off for far too long simply because it felt overwhelming. The session did not feel overwhelming at all."
Case Study — Household Records Programme
A family with records only one member could navigate
The Situation
A retired couple had all their household documents organized — but only the husband knew where things were or what they meant. His wife and their adult daughter in another province had no real picture of the household's papers. This had begun to feel like a concern to all three.
What We Did
We ran three visits: one with the couple together, one with the husband alone to go through the more detailed documents, and a final session with the daughter joining remotely. We prepared a written family briefing in plain English and a simplified home filing layout labelled clearly enough for anyone in the family to use.
The Outcome
The written briefing was shared digitally with the daughter and printed for the home. The couple reported a month later that the conversation they had been avoiding for years had become much easier once the documents were clearly laid out and named. Programme completed over three weeks.
"Having something written down that everyone could read made a difference we had not expected."
